The Bentley Memorial Hall in Hampshire
12th March 2024. Hall Closed 4th and 5th April
All downstairs areas of the Hall, including the entrance lobby and the kitchen, will be closed for two to three days from 4th April. This is for essential maintenance. It is hoped the work will be completed within 2 days (i.e. the Thursday and Friday). However, if the work runs into a third day, Saturday Café for the 6th April will be cancelled at short notice. The Hugh Barton Room upstairs can continue to be used, providing access is only from the back entrance and no one goes downstairs.
4th March 2024. Film Night 15th March
Our next film night is on Friday 15th March, with doors and the bar opening at 7.15 and the film starting at 8.00. We will be showing The Banshees of Inisherin (cert 15). Entrance is £7 per person. There is no need to book - just turn up on the night.
22nd September 2023. Relaunch of 100+ Club
Our popular 100+ Club is being relaunched today allowing anyone to support the Memorial Hall through regular giving with a chance of winning prizes every month. See here for more details.
8th August 2023. Price increases
Due to the increase in the cost of operating and maintaining the Hall, the prices for hiring the Hall are being increased from 1 September. In addition, to more reflect the cost of facilitating a hire, the pricing structure has been changed. The new prices are under the ‘Rooms & Pricing’ tab on this website.
25th August 2022. Bouncy castles no longer allowed in the Hall
With immediate effect, bouncy castles and other similar inflatable devices are no longer allowed to be erected in the Hall. This is because the Hall’s insurance does not cover the use of such devices. The Terms and Conditions, which can be viewed via the ‘Rooms & Pricing’ tab on this website, have been updated.
