The Bentley Memorial Hall in Hampshire
14th August 2026. Main Hall closure
A reminder that the Main Hall will be unavailable for hire next week (August 17th to 21st) as it is being redecorated. The remaining rooms and the toilets will remain accessible. However, the storage area at the kitchen end of the Main Hall and the kitchen itself will not necessarily be accessible. If the redecoration activity is overruns into Saturday 22nd August, the Saturday Café for that day will need to be cancelled at short notice.
12th August 2026. Updated Terms and Conditions and Hirer Information
The standard Terms and Conditions and the Information for Hirers documents have been updated. These must be read by all hirers, including anyone who has hired the hall before. The new documents can be found in the links near the bottom of the ‘Rooms & Pricing’ tab on this website.
12th August 2026. Price increases
Due to the increase in the cost of operating and maintaining the Hall, the prices for hiring the Hall are being increased from 1 September by approximately 4%. The new prices are reflected in the ‘Rooms & Pricing’ tab on this website.
22nd September 2023. Relaunch of 100+ Club
Our popular 100+ Club is being relaunched today allowing anyone to support the Memorial Hall through regular giving with a chance of winning prizes every month. See here for more details.
25th August 2022. Bouncy castles no longer allowed in the Hall
With immediate effect, bouncy castles and other similar inflatable devices are no longer allowed to be erected in the Hall. This is because the Hall’s insurance does not cover the use of such devices. The Terms and Conditions, which can be viewed via the ‘Rooms & Pricing’ tab on this website, have been updated.
